This does not look like an organization that is destroying the rural beauty of Oro Medonte. If fact, what a great way to preserve Oro! Beautiful fields of green are exactly what this Township wants. This is what the property looked like 97.53% of last year outside of the 9 days of concerts.
Kids activities include trail rides by horse and wagon, art lessons and jr. firefighter training by the Oro-Medonte Fire Department. There is plenty of green space to layout a blanket and on leash dogs are welcome too.
Visited by up to 1,000 people each week, OK Friday has quickly become the gathering place for Oro-Medonte. Whether it is a date night, a stop on the cycle trail or a break on the highway drive. Stop by and enjoy the local talent on display while you get to know your neighbours and experience the region.

Check out the beautiful landscape that is Burls Creek!
Local artist Dylan Hay and his band Lost Cousins take the stage a Burl's Creek during the WayHome Festival!
This event looks like a pretty good time for everybody. What reason would someone have to leave the grounds during the festival? Not to mention, with security and electronic wristbands, it would be nearly impossible to go unnoticed!
The OK Friday Barn Fair is a dynamic, community driven, art and farmers market held seasonally at Burl's Creek Event Grounds. With a carefully restored 1930's barn as a centerpiece, Ok Friday offers a relaxed and cultural environment to shop and socialize.
Farm fresh produce and a variety of ready to eat items are available, alongside the region's favourite bakeries, artisanal producers, and craft makers. VQA Ontario wines are featured, with educational sampling, wine by the glass, and to go bottle sales.
Burl's Creek is great for local music in many ways. W.R. Best Elementary School's music program has already enjoyed the benefits Burl's Creek brings to our local music and cultural scene. Click the images to the right to read more about the donation!
